My Prayer for You

    Worship is a vital part of our spiritual journey. At Multiply, we choose songs that are biblically accurate and glorify Jesus, regardless of their origin. The focus is on lifting up the name of Jesus and ensuring that our worship points to Him. This approach helps us stay grounded in our faith and keeps our worship pure and meaningful.

    Worship is not just about singing; it's about experiencing the presence of God. When we sing songs that glorify Jesus, we are reminded of His goodness and faithfulness. This strengthens our faith and encourages us to keep moving forward, even in difficult times.


    Life is full of ups and downs, but as believers, we have the assurance that we are not alone. God walks with us through every valley, and His presence gives us the strength to keep going. Our lives are a testimony of His faithfulness, and our stories can inspire others to trust in Him.


    Many in our congregation have faced challenging situations, from work-related stress to health issues. Yet, through it all, God's faithfulness shines through. These testimonies remind us that we are not defined by our circumstances but by the God who walks with us.


    Paul begins his prayer by expressing his gratitude for the faith and love of the Ephesians. He continually thanks God for them and remembers them in his prayers. This is a powerful reminder for us to be thankful for our fellow believers and to lift each other up in prayer.


    Paul prays for the Ephesians to receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that they may know God better. Wisdom helps us make godly decisions, while revelation allows us to see God's hand in our lives. Together, they deepen our relationship with Him.


    Paul's prayer includes a request for the eyes of the Ephesians' hearts to be enlightened. This means seeing beyond our physical circumstances and understanding the spiritual realities of our faith. 


He prays for three specific things:


1. The Hope to Which We Are Called: Understanding the eternal hope we have in Christ gives us the strength to endure present difficulties.


2. The Riches of His Glorious Inheritance: Recognizing the spiritual riches we have as                children of God helps us live with a sense of purpose and gratitude.


3. His Incomparably Great Power: Knowing that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us gives us confidence to face any challenge.


Paul's prayer is not just for the Ephesians; it is for us as well. 


We can apply these principles to our lives by:


1. Giving Thanks for Each Other: Take time this week to thank God for the people in your life. Express your gratitude to them and let them know how much they mean to you.

2. Seeking Wisdom and Revelation: Pray for God's wisdom and revelation in your daily decisions. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in new and deeper ways.

3. Focusing on Eternal Hope: Keep your eyes fixed on the hope of eternity. Let this hope guide your actions and give you strength in difficult times.

    Paul's prayer for the Ephesians is a powerful reminder of the importance of faith, wisdom, and the power of God in our lives. As we apply these principles, we can experience a deeper relationship with God and a greater sense of purpose and hope. Let's commit to praying for one another and seeking God's wisdom and revelation in our daily lives.

Finding Comfort in Adversity

     Adversity refers to unfavorable conditions marked by misfortune, calamity, or distress. Everyone faces it at some point in life. The Bible acknowledges this reality and provides guidance on how to navigate through it.      In the biblical context, comfort means to come alongside someone in their time of need, offering strength and hope. God is described as the "Father of compassion and the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3).      In a world of uncertainty and chaos, getting caught up in the events around us is easy, especially during election seasons. However, as followers of Jesus, we should focus on the eternal truths and the mission God has given us.      The sermon series, "Signs of the Times," aligns with the current season, addressing the anxieties and questions many have about the end times.
