Unearned Blessings: Embracing God's Ultimate Gift

Understanding Our Nature and God's Goodness It's in our human nature  to question, "Why would he do that? We're the good people." However, a deeper dive into God's word reveals a different truth: "There is none good. No, not one."  This is crucial because if God reserved His blessings only for the good, then none would receive them. Understanding this helps us not to get surprised or upset when God blesses those we perceive as unrighteous. It's a reminder that our righteousness is like filthy rags before Him. The Righteousness of Faith What changes the equation is our faith in Jesus. Through Him, God's righteousness is imputed on us. This is not because of our inherent goodness, but because of the goodness of God that comes into our lives through faith. Therefore, it's important to realize two things: 1. All good gifts come from God. 2. Jesus is the ultimate good gift from God. The Story of the Samaritan Woman Consider the story of the

Equipping Each Other: Our Journey as a Church Family

As a part of our church family, I've realized something profound and heartening: We are all responsible for equipping each other for a vital mission. It's not just about individual spiritual journeys; it's about collective growth and support. This mission isn't solely for our leaders or specific individuals. It's for every single one of us , and that includes me, you, and every person who steps into our church, seeking solace, guidance, or a sense of belonging. The Mission: Multiplying the Kingdom of God What exactly is this mission we're talking about? It's about multiplying the kingdom of God . It's a mission that goes beyond the walls of our church, into the hearts and lives of people we meet every day. Whether it's through studying God's word, teaching, sharing testimonies, or even learning to pray, every action and word counts towards this greater purpose. Our Collective Responsibility It’s crucial to recognize that this task isn't desi

Living Authentically: Embracing Our Core Values at Multiply Church

I see a vision of beauty emerging within our church family. It’s not fully formed yet, but in the bright glimpses and small pockets, it’s undeniably there. The heart of this vision? Investing in the gospel for the next generation. We’re making strides, significant ones, but there's room to grow—as there always is. What Are Values? Values . It’s a word we hear often, but what does it actually mean? Simply put, values are the shared beliefs and principles that we, as a congregation and as individuals, hold dear. They guide our actions and shape our community. At Multiply Church, we’ve identified key values that we collectively place importance on, creating a foundation for our mission. 1. Live Authentically Be real . That’s our first call to action. We’ve all heard the saying, “Pretense is nonsense,” and it couldn’t be more true. Authenticity is about being genuine, not hiding behind masks of false perfection. At Multiply, we welcome the messiness of life because it is in our imperfe

The Transformative Journey of Lorraine Frances: Leading with Purpose at Mukti Mission

Introducing a Visionary Leader Lorraine Frances, the mission director of Mukti Mission, stands before us as a personification of hope and transformation. As a Haggai International leader, her life's work transcends the ordinary; it's a quest to eradicate Gospel poverty and ignite a spiritual reawakening among thousands.  From Darkness to Light: The Awakening of Lorraine Lorraine recalls her profound encounter with faith as a young Hindu woman. The story unfolds with a simple flyer, a colleague's persistent invitations to explore Christianity, and the moment her eyes fell upon John 14:6. In this scripture, Jesus proclaims, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This pivotal moment led to an inward transformation so profound that it not only changed her faith but intertwined her destiny with her future husband, a union that has fortified their commitment to the mission for 35 years.
